Also, important to remember that it's not like 29 other teams have made major moves. Sure there are a few headlining teams who have been very active but there's soooo many teams who haven't done much yet... so it's not actually a problem of just the Marlins being quiet.

Instead its time to act like this team has been failing for year after year after year.  Its been such a fucking strange way of approaching this whole concept of winning and competing for the playoffs.

Instead of adding to that club that just made the playoffs, they have done...

Overall it's ok that they haven't made any big moves yet because it can still be done later but there is the facts of time running out, players coming off the board, etc. 

Maybe better said, it's not the lack of moves that's the problem, it's the fear that the lack of moves means that no big moves are coming. Because if we could somehow say "Marlins haven't made any big moves yet but it's guaranteed that a big move is coming on January 8th" then you'd be ok because you know it's coming. So it's moreso about fans being nervous that nothing will get done at all.

I think more....uncertainty might be the right word.....also stems from it being a new GM - does he take time to evaluate the existing system and therefore not do much this year?  Is he working on big moves because he doesn't like players x, y, z in our system?   We don't really know...

Yeah, this whole approach of doing nothing after playoff years - '20, and now '23 (so far) - makes no sense.
