I mean, at least we try to make some moves - I feel like the Rockies have just stood pat the last 3 years without doing anything.

Marlins gonna Marlins but I do believe Bruce is trying to win. The Rockies don't even bother.

Aram Leighton "playing GM" with some good takes on what he thinks the Marlins should do.

-points out how many guys are in arbitration because that raises payroll without fans realizing it.

-offers suggestions on who should and shouldn't be traded.

...the two big points for me are his reasons why Luzardo shouldn't be traded and the bottom line of how a better team can still be constructed even if they're going cheaper, which has been my biggest need all along. I don't care if they wanna do things like the Rays, just do it with competitive teams please.

I like Aram and this was a good segment with useful info. But that term for them always annoys me.

One of my favorite things about the Just Baseball show is how polished it is. Almost seems like a pro-level thing. Can't say that about many podcasts.

Oh man I had the same reaction. Nothing against Aram but it's a joke that the Marlins think they need to act like a small market team.

I'm pretty sure the Rockies' owner has said the last few seasons that they're good enough/better than their record, so they basically wouldn't do anything.

I'll be preaching to the choir here, but Miami is a "small market team" because of past ownership issues, and a lack of success.  Bring in prolonged success, and people will come out more consistently, and therefore we'll become a bigger market team like the market they play in.  Nothing but success will do.

Yea I've noticed this. Either press enter yourself or sometimes if you give it a moment it will load up on its own but you gotta let the link load itself up, can't just paste it and submit the post or it'll just show up as the URL alone.

I mean the Marlins have won two World Series (same amount as the Cardinals during that span; just saying).

Doesn't change the fact that they have done nothing this offseason and in many other offseasons, but they certainly aren't a failed expansion franchise and most definitely not in the same class as the Rockies.

Colorado has done much better than us attendance wise, though.  That's about it.

How many times has Colorado made the playoffs? I know they've gone a few times but it doesn't feel like many more than the Marlins have really.
