And I realized that because I saw highlights from yesterday’s game and saw Josh Bell get a rbi hit. I stopped watching games months ago.. so I didn’t really notice. I only watch highlights now.. and every game I see players I never heard of before getting hits.. I think Lou even mentioned him as a stop gap ages ago when he was hung up on a CF. But yeah I know what you're saying as I do the same thing when I check in on box scores. "King of the small sample size" Kyle Stowers hitting over .400 the last week and over. 300 the last two weeks after an icy start that would make Santa Claus proud. He just needed his Bird Buddy Norby to join him in the big leagues. Unconfirmed rumors that every time Stowers gets a hit he celebrates by putting a pin in his Pollythewog voodoo doll. J'Daniel currently languishing at Harbor Park in Norfolk (we don't smoke, we don't chew, Nor-folk, Nor-folk) with a robust 20.77 era (how's that for small sample sizes), which is just above his stellar 7.57 era with Baltimore after the trade. If a couple of the other trades work out near as well as this one the Marlins will be cooking in the very near future. In Bendix we trust. WE ARE COMING!

Three yrs ago he had a Dontrelle Willis type season but now he’s in shambles. They could convert Trev as a bullpen specialist, slow things down and work him back up. The trade was lopsided but the Arraez trade was more so even if he was a rental. I’m not on the Bendix bandwagon yet. I’d wait and see what he does with Luzardo & Sandy. Sandy will be on a pitch count next year with ups & downs and probably wont reach his potential value until the 2026 trade deadline. Retaining some players will go a long way in putting trust back into this stock market/farm system culture we’ve been under.
