Awesome experience I bet! We're very lucky that most of our players are real nice and not a-holes like some of the others. I got to meet most of the 2003 team before the WS parade and they were all extremely friendly and pleasant, really great guys. Dtrain's the man.

Yeah, it can be better as a student just to have the letter without the +/- part, but it's also a much less accurate indicator of performance and is probably unfair. If I receive an 89 in a class, and another kid receives an 80, I think I deserve a higher GPA because my work was significantly superior, and I'd be pissed that the other kid gets the grade points as me, because it could hurt when comparing GPA for things like grad school, jobs, etc. I could care less what the other kid gets! As long as I get the grade I feel I deserve. And if it bothers you so much, the next time do 80 quality work so you get a fair treatment.

I know we all all miss him, but imagine how he must feel, knowing how he loved playing here in Miami. I feel bad for him, they really shafted him by sending him away.

I dont think this is so bad, if the NFL cant guarantee a rotation of superbowls then they will need the Marlins for the same econimic reasons they mention.

I agree with you, its just hard for some to be positive when you have an "instant gratification" mentality. Most people want immediate results, and who can blame them when you have to experience this every 7. years
