Isn't there some paint company that has "official" team colors? Or maybe that was just for the NFL I can't remember. Ask at the hardware store. Edit to add: I looked on google, and Glidden makes official NFL team colors, and I'm sure the Miami Dolphins Teal would work for the Marlins teal, and of course black is just black. steve phillips is getting on the marlins' bandwagon now before its too late and the marlins win the division and he ends up looking like an idiot for doubting them I have to somewhat "defend" Phillips because early in the year in late April and early May when we were in first and every topic was "which 1st place teams are for real" and NO ONE was saying we were, I definitely saw him saying that others shouldn't be so quick to dismiss us and that we were for real.

Dear Aimee, Thank you for this insightful letter regarding the Florida Marlins and for simply taking the time to write to me (i'm very lonely). However, you should have realized long ago that as a journalist it is in my contract to constantly talk about the Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs, Mets, and phillies and only mention the Marlins as an afterthought (or to completely sh*t all over them if they aren't overachieving). ESPN controls every single media outlet in the world despite what you may think, and they have given us this rule ever since the Marlins' expansion year of '93. This year they've also added the Rays to the list of teams we have to constantly talk about just to annoy the Marlins and their fanbase even further. So you see, it is not the actual journalists fault that the Marlins don't get much attention, it's ESPN which was also recently purchased by Norman Braman. I like the way you wrote that, and you were so right on about what you spoke about. I can't tell you how often I hear people in the media trash this team, only to hear them spout off with nothing but inaccurate information. If you are going to write articles for public consumption, or commentate about something on the radio/TV, at least get your f***ing facts straight first.
