My bud called it

Featured Replies

I was thinking the same thing, I don't know why. It's nice to see Andino get a shot in the majors and make the most of it.

This is a big win because after using up our bullpen it is imperative we come away with a win because there is no guarantee Miller is going to go deep into the game tomorrow ..GREAT WIN!!!

My friend called it when Hammer was up, then when Cantu was up, then again when Andino was up...and I didn't say anything until he said Andino was up...I told him he was crazy.

i swear i was sitting on the fone with my friend doing a project and as hes talking im thinking to myself that robbie was gonna hit it out and when he did i scared the hell out of the guy on the fone...... i hope there is more of that to come from andino

What a great moment for the kid.

Awesome to get the win after the bullpen held on for us.

Im ashamed of myself, after the 10th, i just couldn't keep watching and went to GH III to relax.

big props to a comptly unlikely hero. Maybe he gets some playing tim at third. Does anyone know how he has been doing defensivly?

There's magic in the air, baby. This is going to be a wild year. Hop on the bandwagon now, bitches. It will much more fulfilling than waiting till August or September.

Did Hurk use the cutter he has been working on at all? I know he didnt have a long outing innings wise but he threw alot of pitches.

With his fastball, and the ability to change speeds, if he can get his curve working and add a cutter(a good one on top of that) he could be pretty damn lethal.

It feels the great.

The longer the game went the more worried I got. But like you guys said, the bullpen did great and Kevin made due with his broken glasses.

FWIW, he almost made a fantastic play barehanding a slow roller to 3B but couldn't quite get Schneider at first.

I don't think defense has ever been the issue with him though.

Well, it was a great moment on Gameday. Congrats.

Same here. I'm also in Tallahassee and couldn't see the game.

Did you notice next week there's like a full five or six days we won't be able to see the game?

I may have asked you before, but are you an FSU student?

Sweet game with a sweeter ending...

Pedro strains a hammy (I don't wish harm on anyone, but when a Met goes down... well, its a Met), bullpen is solid, Andino walks off!

We've matched our number of home wins against the Mets from last year!! Haha!! Woohoo!!

Like I said in the game thread... I'm thrilled for the kid. He waited long enough.

To ANDINO! :cheers

And kudos to the BULLPEN. Great job; keep it up.
