May 27, 200917 yr The worst player goes first, to get him out of the way, right? It's the obvious choice
May 27, 200917 yr The worst player goes first, to get him out of the way, right? Actually, he's there to get the most at-bats and piss me off even more. :banghead
May 27, 200917 yr Swap the Boni & Maybin situation. Boni must be go down to AAA. Maybin get a chance to play at major as a leadoff. That's it.
May 27, 200917 yr Don't tell Fredi but before tonight, Gload and Helms were 10 for their last 21 (.477). :whistle
May 27, 200917 yr Fredi likes Bonifacio's soft hands... and his hard.....nevermind. In all seriousness though, if he didn't move Bonifacio out of the leadoff spot tonight (which was a perfect opportunity to do so) then you have to wonder what it will take.
May 27, 200917 yr Bonifacio drew a walk in the 9th inning. That means he deserves another week hitting leadoff...

In all seriousness though, if he didn't move Bonifacio out of the leadoff spot tonight (which was a perfect opportunity to do so) then you have to wonder what it will take. We need to find someone who looks like Fredi... Before tomorrow's game, we sub the real Fredi with the fake one who'll do what we tell him to do
May 27, 200917 yr Convince Ricky Henderson out of retirement. Poof, all our problems are solved. You kid, but Im pretty convinced Rickey could still OBP .330-.340... and probably steal 20 bases. Second to that, I just don't even know what the deal with the lineup is, I REALLY hope it's just contingent on Gaby's health and eventual call up
May 27, 200917 yr Bonifacio drew a walk in the 9th inning. That means he deserves another week hitting leadoff... Using Marlins2003 logic I see. Either way, Bonifacio is pretty much guaranteed to be batting leadoff tomorrow and for the foreseeable future. He will get an off night once in a blue night but besides that he is going to be hitting first on a nightly basis. Hermida(who also had a rough night) will probably be moved down to 7th or 8th in the lineup or possibly even given a night or 2 off though.

Fire Jim Presley in the process and make him a player-coach, the new hitting coach. That way we can give him a justified reason to come down here to be our hitting coach, since he can play too. Get him to go all Jose Reyes on Bonifacio and others (Reyes from 3% BB% to 11% BB% under Henderson)
May 27, 200917 yr Seriously though, why does Fredi continue to change the lineup? He saw what worked yesterday (Jerm, Coggie and Helms), and instead rewires the lineup so that most of it is different. Is it really him that likes Bonifacio this much? In that case, I can't understand a manager who doesn't see talent...or lack thereof. I read somewhere here that it was Beinfest and the GM that like Bonifacio... I don't know, but I'm seriously at a loss on how this guy keeps getting the start. Not that I want Helms starting everyday, but he showed that he can make some pretty sweet defensive plays out there... so how about we let some other players show what they can do?

What's with the Che Guevara picture? Are you doing it just to upset people? If this is the case, you are being extremely insensitive toward many poeple. I am asking you to please remove the picture.
May 27, 200917 yr Fredi: Come on, enough is enough. I want to drop Bonifacio from the line-up. He's sucking. Did you see his third AB last night? Blanton rolled the ball along the ground to him and he still tried to bunt it. Beinfest: Sorry, Frederino. No can do. Fredi: Why the devil not? Beinfest: Emilio focuses the hate. If we drop him, the hate may end up with the Front Office. For sac-ing power for speed despite us having the best season since 2003. For not snapping up Rhodes, Nelson & Waecther. For gambling on Hermida finally having that break-out season. For believing Maybin is the next Hanley based on one month and then getting you to stick him eighth. For thinking Uggla will snap out of his post-ASB funk. Need I go on? Fredi: Oh I see. Well, I don't care what you think, you can take the heat. Boni is on the bench. Beinfest: I still have those photos of you and Charlie Manuel. Fredi: Swing, Boni, Swing!

May 27, 200917 yr I think hes gonna be moved from the leadoff spot. Once tommy starts harping on things like last night they usually change. Not saying he has input or anything but i assume he talks to the guys off the record and such and he hears more than us.
May 27, 200917 yr It's not that Tommy has input. It's that Tommy gets permission. So once Tommy starts harping about anything you know change is coming soon so Boni's days leading-off are numbered.
