canada-marlin24
Was at a bar watching the game with a bunch of Mets fans...it was freakin' sweet when Buck and Logan went yard they shoudlnt be surprised. i would argue the nationals are better than the mets this year. on paper at least. they got laroche, werth, zimmerman and espinosa and desmond primed for breakout years. Erick
Another positive would be that none of our starters struck out in this game. The Marlins only K'd twice, and it was Josh Johnson both times. For a team that's been at the top in strikeouts over the years, that was nice to see.

floridafly
Very good game all around, just got back. BTW, the firework show must have cost more than our OF's combined salary. It was pretty awesome But the funny thing is that the stadium was running out of beer in the 6th inning. I guess they aren't used to 40,000+ haha. Entendu
I think catcher is a pretty cool guy, eh hits grand slams and doesn't afraid of anything.

knglover
I would just like to add that the national anthem was awesome. One of the best instrumental renditions I have ever heard. Was there a flyover? TV didn't show it if there was.
Beetle
Was there a flyover? TV didn't show it if there was. Yes, there was – right on cue. Always impressive. If you watch this video until the end, at 2:10 people in the crowd start to look/point upward. http://florida.marlins.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=13377261
Admin
So I assume that the team did not unveil a Scott Stapp-eque anthem this year?

Overhed
I love infante already. Me too. He showed off some of his defensive skills. Hanley also had a great game defensively. That play up the middle with the spin and throw to keep the no hitter alive was amazing.

Eddie Altamonte
This was the type of game that would end up as a no-decision last season for JJ. It appears that the bullpen has a chance of becoming dependable...Amazing job for them. BTW love the new lineup. Buck is such an upgrade in catching from last season. Perfect start for the new season.
