What a gob knobler.

He'll go where the $$$ is. And yes, I do believe that him visiting Little Havana will allow him to feel more comfortable with the transition to the states.

Danny Knobler of CBSSports.com writes that there's still a feeling that Yoenis Cespedes "really doesn't want to go to the Marlins."

Interesting. The Marlins certainly haven't been shy about their interest and believe Miami's strong Cuban community could be the best fit. It's not known why Cespedes would prefer to play elsewhere, but we have a feeling he would change his tune if the Marlins make the biggest offer. The 26-year-old outfielder recently established residency in the Dominican Republic and teams are awaiting on the OK from MLB to start the bidding. Cespedes has previously said that the Marlins, Cubs, White Sox, Orioles, Tigers, and Indians were the six teams showing the most interest in signing him. Jan. 25 - 1:50 pm et

Marlins remain committed to outbidding the Cubs and Tigers for Yoennis Cespedes if and when he every attains free agency

Sounds like the standard case of 'lol you're both Indian and you're both named Patel. Therefore, you are related and know each other.'.

The Marlin hate has restarted. They decided the honeymoon faze was over and that Marlins are the Scum of the earth once more. Let out terror Rain and be Swift upon all the haters. Amen.

Reports that he is not interested in signing with the Marlins are not true, an industry source said.
