Jose Fernandez dies in boating accident

meh...Our shitty farm system will probably get nothing good at #14.  Mike Hill will trade him anyway.

Probably, but I was referring to the fact that we took Jose at #14 in the 2011 draft.

it's saturday and i can't get this stupid era out of my head still

Not to go back into the doom and gloom era of last week, but im curious, did they cremate Jose? I heard somewhere they spread his ashes off the coast of Miami beach.

His jersey is heavily discounted right now.

Where abouts? Still showing as full price to me on the official Marlins store.

It was probably that knockoff MLB store that's been going around.

I had a buddy try to get me to go in on buying some jerseys.. clearly a knock off site. Just look at the FAQ and the terrible sentences and it all makes sense.

It is. I saw it on my facebook feed and nearly flipped my shit until I realized it was BS.

If anything mattered it'd be their blood alcohol level.

Toxicology report will reveal that. The sad reality is, this is all about the lawsuits. If/when it is revealed Jose was the pilot of the boat, the other families will likely sue his estate for wrongful death. Its being investigated as a homicide

How would they be able to tell Jose was driving? I mean it was his boat of course so obviously he knew how to pilot it. But what's to say the others didn't?
