June 10, 20188 yr If he’s replacing Jeff Nelson, I wonder if it has anything to do with Nelson being very openly critical of Ziegler about a week ago. It was awesome to be honest. He was actually very critical of Chen the other day. I didn't mind it one bit.

June 10, 20188 yr maybe at seasons end FoxSports will finally admit defeat to the horror that is Hollandsworth and move Tommy back in there. I'd actually subscribe to the Extra Innings package again if he was back in the booth regardless of the product on the field. I'm thinking that's not going to happen though as before Tommy's contract wasn't renewed he was supposedly going to ask for more days off during the season anyway so maybe this is his way of coming back to do what he loves but in the reduced role that he wanted. It's a shame that I can't see the pre or postgame shows with Extra Innings.
June 10, 20188 yr Just hearing Tommys voice in that half inning that he joined the booth last night was amazing. Reminds me how much he's missed. It's because were used to his voice but it just feels like it fits.
June 10, 20188 yr Rich and Tommy were just an A+ crew. As horrific as the Marlins are and will be for the foreseeable future, at least we had the memories. Nice to see Tommy resurfacing, even if it’s for pre and post game chatter.
June 10, 20188 yr Didn’t know Gaby Sanchez was an analyst. His close line of Nyjer Morgan will go down in Marlins history. Glad to have Tommy back but frankly they should have rich and tommy back in the booth. I like the two new guys but it just seems vanilla. I wonder if this is a precursor to reverting back to Rich and Tommy in the booth next year. If they want to keep Holly and make him the pre/post game guy, I’d be ok with that. Severino hasn’t done much for me (my vote from the announced list of finalists was Scott Braun), so I’d have no problem with him leaving.

All I do know is that I don't blame this Larry guy for leaving here, you all seem to have had a scary obsession with him. You're seeing him where he isn't and constantly thinking of him.

June 11, 20188 yr You need the Sports Pack, then you can watch it. i used to be able to see the pre and postgame shows when I had Extra Innings through DirecTV. I have Cox cable now and they only show the game and cut it off the moment it ends - and when I say the moment it ends, I mean i've seen walkoffs that end with the feed being cut within 30 seconds of the runner stepping on homeplate

I just don’t think they make a good combo for a number of reasons. We are in a weird spot with announcers
