August 31, 20206 yr I'm curious about Marte. Does any one know if the idea is that he will play Center field? In reviewing his career stats, seems he began his MLB career primarily as a left fielder, and since the begining of 2018 has played 99.9% of his games in CF (1 game in left field in the past three seasons but all the rest in CF) and he has never played an MLB game in RF. If he is going to play CF full time, it could bring up an interesting platoon situation with Harold Ramirez, Brinson, Berti and J. Sanchez in RF. I guess we'll see how everything plays out in over the next couple of games. I guess having a strong outfield depth not a bad problem to have for any MLB team. As I said earlier, sometimes he plays like he's in his first MLB season. I don't understand it. He's a veteran and he's a good player so it makes zero sense.

I'm a firm believer that you never stop "rebuilding", but we're now at a point that we expect to win too. Nobody has a position "secured". May the best players play. We have a lot of outfield potential, so if someone is struggling, somebody else steps in.

Dickerson in left and whoever in right. Hopefully Sierra comes back soon too, kid was a little spark plug. I hope that double gets Alfaro going too. Maybe Marte can take Brinson under his wing and teach that dude to swing the bat.
