"LISTENING" does not mean "MOVING" - should always listen on anyone. Also it's Heyman reporting that.

It'd be stupid to not listen. Should always be looking to improve. Doesn't mean they are trying to dump them for scraps. If some team offers up an unbelievable haul though, you have to always listen.

Yes.  Because no team has ever traded from a position of (relative) strength to address positions of weakness and still been competitive.

This extreme "sky is falling" attitude a couple weeks into the offseason is stupid.  If we get to spring training and we still haven't done anything, I'll jump in there with you to complain.  But give the new guy time to make some moves before declaring it a failure and guaranteed rebuild.

I revert to many of my previous comments - this team has a lot of position holes that Kim never addressed for years - holes that Bendix will have to fill (hopefully it's the right angle), and absent some very creative moves and/or signings, I don't know if we'll be able to address them all this offseason.  I'm anticipating a step back from last year, to around .500 as-is.  We shall see.

We do need to wait at least 4 years for Bendix and his 17 AGMs clocks to start to be fair and equal to the previous GM

Does the clock restart with the hiring of each new AGM?  Maybe that's the strategy here....a forever extending clock start.

I kind of feel like the Marlins aren't going to do much at all.

It’s an above average rotation.

Trying Puk as a starter makes sense too since other guys (all lefties too) emerged out of the bullpen last year.
