How many games do you attend a season?

Featured Replies

I normally average about 10 games a year. Although this year and next year will be tough as I'm moving to North Carolina also in August. By the way nice to see so many marlins dans in NC, glad I won't be the only one. And on the NC State/Duke comments. I'm going to be living in Chapel Hill and attending Duke so I'm sure Mystikol can see how that may be a problem lol.

Pach, I go to Duke and live in Chapel Hill!

I don't want to hijack the thread, but shoot me a PM and let me know what you'll be doing up here, if you need any advice, where you'll be living at, etc.

I go to the away series in Cincinnati every year.

As far as baseball games in general I make about 8-10 games in Cincinnati. I also go to an average of 1 game a week for the Louisville Bats (where I live).

Depends. I usually have tickets to like 5 games but miss 1 or 2 of em due to rainouts that I never have time to make up or, like what happened with 2 games vs the Rockies this season, I'll have to study for big tests. Once the new park opens, I'll go to a ton since it's much closer.

I'm sorry to say like 1 or 2. I'm more or less the only baseball fan I know in person, Sun Life Stadium is far away, and I don't really have the money to spend on good seats, so I prefer staying at home since I love the broadcast anyway.

When I lived up in Virginia, i'd catch a couple of games against the Nats and maybe the Phillies. Now, living in West Palm Beach, my goal is to catch one game per homestand (those weekday 7 PM starts are impossible since I work until almost 7). Does spring training count? Made it a couple at Roger Deal.

Usually I do about 25, this year I got a 28 game plan, so between those games and any extras I go to because of match ups I'll probably do a few more than 30. Next year we have full season, and I'm psyched about that.

I usually make at least one three+ hour trip down to Miami a year to see them, always go see them at TB so anywhere to 4-5 regular season games.

I catch them more in ST, this year I went to four games. For this year I already have tickets for last game at Sun Life, may go down before that though. And I have tickets at the Rays and will see them in DC also.

The last few years I've had tickets to every weekend home game. I'll try to make it to a weekday game as well when the matchup is good. Weekday games are tough though because of work. I had full season tickets when I was in college (2000-2003), but I still never made it to all 81.

Went to 3 in Atlanta vs the Marlins last year. Like Enterthemadness, im also in NC.

You're in North Carolina? Is NC State a good school? I've been offered a graduate assistantship there.

You haven't researched it yet???? LOL

WOLFPACK SUCKS, Go Blue Devils!

I've researched them, but the opportunity to work one-on-one with their football team in a sports nutrition capacity would be once in a lifetime as a graduate student. Their sports dietitian is also nationally recognized.

That, and they'd pay for my schooling and give me money. They're ranked like 27 in Nutritional Sciences, though.

It's between them, UF, or UGa. Still haven't made up my mind. :-/

45 - 50 until i cancel my season tickets, now only when the phillies or mets come to town.

I go to a lot of games....40-50 home games, plus typically one away series. i am a season ticket holder, but real life gets in the way of me going to 81 games so i sell or give away the ones i can't attend.

locked in for the 2012 season as well :)

I go to about 15-20 a season. I'm always getting different friends into baseball that didn't grow up on it like me. A friend just moved to Aventura and is going with me all the time!

Where is broncobob? Should we be worried?

I think you might have deterred what may have been one of the greatest posts in history.

Is there an award for that?

Yes, the "Should we be worried if it ain't broke and we don't fix it?" award for BroncoBob-deterring excellence!

None. Too far, it might rain, and there's nothing to do around the stadium.

It's better to sit at home and complain anytime the media makes remarks on our low attendance, and harrass those that do go to the games.
