It's official, Marlins vs Cubs. Game starts on a Wednesday. 

This is what some of you wanted. A 2003 rematch.  

Looks like Sandy could be in line for the start. Wednesday's game gives him another day of rest.

 

 

Not looking forward to facing Darvish in game 1, but hopefully Sandy keeps it close.

I'll be at work what the fuck man. I'll either turn it on the TV there or on my laptop in back. Suboptimal starting time though.

I think Hendricks will get the nod first. By Wednesday he will have had 7 or 8 days of rest. 

I agree, Darvish has been CY good. It's going to be fun. 

 

Maybe I’m one of the few that have noticed, but, we’ve done better vs “good” pitchers than we have vs guys with 6+ ERA’s

cubs offense has been lacking a bit this year, hopefully we can squooze out a run or two and lock it down

I cut the cord a long time ago. If it's on ABC does that mean I have to watch it on YouTube TV or something?

It's free OTA if you get an antenna, a must for every cord cutter!

Though if ABC is on YoutubeTV it should be on there, I guess.

Yeah, I need to stay up late for it but it's worth it. 

Last time Marlins made it to the playoffs I'm unmarried and now I have three children …my wife always said why I addicted to the baseball for so long time and I always told her baseball is indispensable to my life.

A streaming company like YouTubeTV does have local channels like ABC. Or it would be available over the air with an antenna as well.

Not surprised though. Only way we will get prime time is in the later rounds.

Hahahaha. Ask anyone under say 25, what are bunny ears behind the tv, majority of them will give a blank stare.. maybe the only ones who will know had parents who never got cable.

I started working from home before 2020 hit but man, I resisted so long (mostly because I'm an introvert and without office interactions I seldom spend time with anyone other than my wife) but now?  I couldn't imagine having to go into an office every day.  I LOVE working from home.
