These are the Marlins '24 Spring Training hats.  I like it....though the "24" patch on the side is unnecessary.

This should be a regular season hat option without the side patch. I'd also accept black hat with blue bill.

It's not realistic. Pre game players wear their BP caps, post game they just take off their caps because they're about to go change, or if they even keep a cap on in a post game interview they just keep the one they left the field with. It makes no sense to leave a finished game tired and then go out of your way to grab a clean cap to wear for barely five minutes at your locker in case you get interviewed. 

Since they're labeled as authentics, I'd imagine every team has boxes of those dumb caps stuffed into a corner of every locker room and they've never been touched once. 

Well, I’m sure, like every other corporation out there, if Marlins upper management really wants them to wear those hats in the clubhouse then they will at some point. 😂

But yeah.. after the game they probably just want to go and shower and put on street clothes and go have some magic spoon for dinner.

To play devil's advocate here....but what happens when he becomes a UFA at the end of the season? Kinda a waste to trade prospects if Bruce isn't going to sign him long term as even with Adames the Fish aren't going to be good enough to win the W.S this year.

The Marlins would be in such a better shape from a fan interest stand point if Jorge Mas had been allowed to purchase this team.

Between the national tv deals and the revnue sharing (48% of ALL revenue is shared) nets each club north of 100 million. Add in local rights deals and they are all making 150 million.  

There should be ZERO excuses to have a payroll in 2024 south of 100 million.  This doesnt even factor in local media rights deals which the Marlins are making more now than they were a few years back.  Plus the stadium naming rights.

Its an absolute fucking joke of all jokes.  You know why the Royals are signing Bobby Witt Jr to the contract he received?  Because the revenues in MLB are incredible and rising on a yearly basis.

Meanwhile, Marlins have this skinflint owner claiming poverty when he is pumping 100 million plus into his pockets on a yearly basis....

Its an embarassment and anyone thinking otherwise is either vastly uneducated about the real economics about MLB or simply dont care about winning.

The fact the Marlins have signed ZERO free agents and stand to have a payroll south of 2023 is a joke and shows how not serious this franchise is about winning.

Jorge Mas would have aggressively pursued big names.  Jorge Mas would have pumped in the money in an effort to increase fan interest, hopefully increase winning and build a sustainable winner.

Guess what, you can win in the short term and not lose sight of long term organizational success.  This bullshit about the Marlins not wanting to get themselves into long term obligations is some of the biggest load of bullshit fed to fans in decades.  And so many are quite content and happy with it.

This team is going to lose 90 games plus based simply on the roster definicies they have and the front office really doesnt give a fuck because Bruce Sherman will put 100 millon dollars or more into his pocket this year.

They're making at least $60M/year just from TV and stadium naming rights.  Before you factor in MLB money, revenue sharing and game/merchandise revenue.

I've read some estimates that MLB teams clear 200 million EASILY from from all the sharing of revenue et al.
