I'm guessing there aren't too many 20 year olds playing shortstop everyday who put up strong defensive stats.

Yeah, that TOTALLY shows he wants out of Miami. Where is this stuff coming from? He's going to be fine. He is going to be a monster again. Pressure will be off. That is the key. Loosen up again.

Accordin to a tweet Capozzie retweeted, we are "poking" around for interest in Hanley. Can't copy and paste the tweet for some reason.

Olney tweeted that. Olney was also the first to report that Hanley wanted to restructure his contract, in which Rosenthal said was not true. I wouldn't worry.

Forget all reports and use common sense...#Marlins wouldn't get equal value for Hanley now based on '11 numbers/shoulder surgery

Hey guys, I am not normally into the whole conspiracy thing but I have watched this video a few times and I keep coming up with the same reaction. It just doesnt sound right to me. I think until we hear him say "I have accepted that if I am going to be part of this franchise, my position will be playing 3rd base", we have to assume there are going to be problems. I mean come on guys, his previous track record does not give him the benefit of the doubt otherwise, in my opinion. Let's not forget that this whole situation can be put to bed with one statement from Hanley and there are no signs that it is coming. I am beyond giving him the benefit of the doubt and i really like the guy and I hope he comes to his senses and plays ball.

Yeah he half-assed that ball he booted, he has had problems with more than one manager he has played for, and numerous "talks" have been had between he and veteran players. Isnt that enough? Stop asking for proof, I have no more proof than you do. Its in the numerous reports that have been released from numerous outlets. Stop being dillusional to the fact that this guy is nothing more that a self important Manny wanna-be. I operate my life under the pretense that where there is smoke, there is fire. The guy has issues. Stop blindly sticking up for him. it isnt healthy. furthermore, how can you disagree in any form that this could all be quelled with Hanley coming out and saying publicly that he will make whatever change is necessary for the team. He and Edwin and then Jack went at it subtlety several times last year. It doesn't have to bludgeon you over the head, but requires you to read between the lines. It was speculated at the time of his resignation that because Hanley didn't like Edwin (because Edwin wanted him to grow up) he sort of "ratted on him" to Loria and it was one of the reasons Edwin "resigned" (of course the losing streak didn't help).

 

And of course as has been stated, that if Hanley wanted to, he could clear this up immediately, by making a statement to the press that he is happy, and moving to 3rd and is going to be a team player. Instead he allows the press & fans to speculate.
