If the Marlins can trade Hanley and his salary -- he's owed $46 million over the next three seasons--their hope is to use that $ on Fielder.

Uhh... and who plays third?

Does Hanley know he hit .243 last season and is crap defensively? Apparently not.

I have defended Hanley for so long, but he's a little diva bitch..

I hate the idea of even shopping Hanley, let alone actually trading him. Would be the worst move ever.

Bonifacio? Throw Peterson in CF, trade Gaby/Dominguez for SP. I don't know.

Bring back Mikey! Take him out of retirement!

Marlins upset with Hanley, because given his subpar year in '11, they were greatly surprised he wants more money to change positions.

If they're going to trade him, then I hope they use some of that money to sign Prince Fielder. What a f***ing idiot, honestly..

I hope they ask Reyes to play 2B and move Infante to 3B, and see what Hanley does. The baby gets what he wants and everyone in the world loses respect for him.

No,no,no and no. This is not the way this off season is supposed to go. I think Hanley is a bitch but he can hit when right. We can't lose him unless we get something crazy back. Feix Hernandez or something.

The only thing I can think of is they told Hanley they were gonna go out and get guys and he may have to move. Hanley thought yeah sure Ill move but they aren't really gonna sign anyone. Now Reyes happens and he is upset.

It seems like Hanley would rather be the top dog on a mediocre team than the 2nd or 3rd best player on a championship caliber one.

Oh geez.

Sources: Hanley Ramirez has strong preference to remain at SS, but will handle matter with #Marlins professionally. #MLB

I guess he thinks whining and saying that if he doesn't get what he wants, he's not playing for us professional.

I hate his attitude a little more with every situation we go through with him. He can't play shortstop. Just flat out. He can't do it. Never has been able to, probably never will. Leaving him at SS, despite what his bat does, hurts the team defensively. He has to understand that. And if he doesn't, he can look at his dWAR.
