Admin
Maybe Montas going to LAD sets up a potential to move Urias?!?! I think this deal is clearly step 1 of another deal.

EricOwens!
This team should be tired of signing projects. Ive said this before. It NEVER works. The list is LONG, and pathetic. Sign the right players the first time. Stop signing or trading for has been Billy Kochs, Furcals...Latos...Benitez etc... Baseball is a game of adjustments. Once a player has been studied and he cant adjust his career is done. Cliff Lee will never be the same, nor will Lincecum. Ive followed baseball all too long! Players do get washed up people. A team that claims to be cash strapped shouldnt spend 3-5 million on a project when they can spent 10-12 and get sure thing quality. "Bargains" add up!!! Stop being cheap and sign the needed players... Idiots... ........ Vince. Take time to look over Stantons contract. It IS heavenly backloaded. So far back, the current owner would of sold by the time Stanton starts getting jack. This team is still cheap. They always do something with a catch. The eject button is always there. Think about it.... Jorge Cantu
Major-Minor
You're right, they will sign absolutely nobody between now and Opening Day I mean I might be frustrated...but it doesn't really matter who they sign if it is not with the goal of winning in mind. The FA's out there are not going to make this team contenders unless maybe if it were a three 10-12 win pitchers? And they "can't afford" them even if these players were available. If they don't care...why should anyone else?

Admin
Be dark horses and sign Alex Gordon to a 3 year deal to play 3B. Do the same for Mike Leake. Finish off what is left of the farm system and trade for Arenado.

Valid
Dont like him. Sucks. 2.30 ERA, 3.01 FIP and 11.13 K/9 last year. There are a lot of things wrong with this team. Ramos is not one of them.
pollythewog
rangers just got Ruggiano for $1.65MM. Why the hell didn't the marlins offer him $2.5m and platoon him with bour?

I can guaranteed you that.

pollythewog
he never played 1b in his career. he's a solid OFer he can learn it. And he'd only be playing 30-35 games a year

pollythewog
Didn't Rugg play a couple games at 1b for the Marlins? it seems the marlins were too busy with Mathis negotiations to miss actually signing who a player who could have an actual impact on the team at a very reasonable price

SongInTheAir
Lets wait for Hendy to throw a pitch in 2016 before we burn Marlins Park down I'm with Lorenzo on this one. Hendo might be a steal for the A's or he may throw one pitch and Tony Saunders away into oblivion.
SilverBullet
Lets wait for Hendy to throw a pitch in 2016 before we burn Marlins Park down Does this mean the Marlins knew more about his injuries than they're letting out or are u just guessing? Because all accounts said he'd pitch about midway through 2016 which to me was enough to tender him for. Unless that was a lie.
