September 25, 20169 yr Yasiel Puig out of all major leagues, seems to be the most hurt. Outside of the Marlins, very likely.

September 25, 20169 yr Author Wow. The other two went to HS with me.... didn't know them personally but still too close to home.

September 25, 20169 yr Incredible how all the news sources talk about him when he has now passed on, but when he was alive didnt give him the time of day. Even with his great numbers, on some comments in the news websites people said they never heard of him until now.

Even with his great numbers, on some comments in the news websites people said they never heard of him until now. I heard a couple reporters today say "and now we're also getting reports in on how good of a human being he apparently was off the field" as if that was some breaking story. If anyone ever paid attention they'd know this already.
September 25, 20169 yr Saw this news while browsing USA Today site. It was like someone punched me. My team. Stunned. Still stunned five hours later. Horrible. Just horrible.
September 25, 20169 yr Live every day like it's a Jose Day, guys. We need to celebrate his life, the 24 years of joy he brought to countless people. We need to remember that, and we know Jose would want the Marlins to go right back out there tomorrow and kick some ass.
September 25, 20169 yr It felt like I lost one of my sons...My sincere condolences to his Family. I agree # 16 should never be worn again by a Marlin...unless it's in form of a black armpatch for the rest of this and next season

September 25, 20169 yr Like the Cards have a black circle with DK 57 in their bullpen, we should have a permanent reminder of Jose
September 25, 20169 yr Marlins park should be a sellout tomorrow. Not only to support the guys but also since he was scheduled to start
September 25, 20169 yr Am I the only one a little annoyed that teams are hanging their own Jose jerseys in their dugout? I get that this tragedy is felt league wide, but fuck you he was ours.

I think its a really classy and kind gesture. They don't have Marlins jerseys hanging around to customize I'm sure.
