It doesn't have that pop factor I guess that is driving me crazy, like from afar it'll just look black. We shall see in a few weeks hopefully!

It's weird but I agree with both... I love the dark on dark with the bright blue outline but yeah I'm afraid in action, on TV and from the seats in the ballpark, that it might just look like an all black cap.

One thing that I haven’t seen get brought up, are we going to have names across the back of the jerseys or is Jeter so used to not seing one that we might not?

I prefer names on the back. The nameless jerseys look cool but I think they only work on the few classic teams that have them. A team born in the 90s looks fine with names.

Yeah, I think that theory will be shot with these uni's.  I'm reserving judgement until we get to see more than just a leaked logo, but if it's even close to the final, there nothing traditional or remotely Yankee-esque about it.

I disagree. Nameless jerseys make me think of the Yankees and Red Sox (home). Neither makes me think of an amateur team. I prefer names on there though too.

I’m confused.  I thought Jeter wanted us to be a minor league team.  I need the internet to tell me if I’m supposed to be mad that we are a minor league team or the Yankees.

I hate nameless jerseys.

 

For one, people don't know who the player is (especially here where it's a revolving door), but it also looks like they didn't want to spend the money to put names on (which may not be far from the truth here haha).
