9 losses in a row and it doesn't even cause an uproar cuz we're already so far down in the dumps, it's like we can't even get angry anymore. Fascinating stuff.

I'm pretty aNgry about it

At least it was a mutual agreement.

yeah, Jazz probably said "give me a call and we discuss my future here" and well....we all know Ng's policy on calling.

One could argue that KIMpetitive isn't nearly the same competitive.

I'll let you make that call

Orioles plan to significantly increase payroll next season.

Teams that see windows of opportunity tend to do that when they care about their fans and their brand.

Must be nice

Someone should call Ng and let her know it's a good idea. Great for the optics of the team.

According to the teams dipshit beat writers. the team's success (or lack there of) is in our hands as fans.

"what Don Mattingly has done with a lineup full of underachievers and an alleged superstar who abandoned his team is a testament to the game's best manager"

all things that are not Don's fault in the least bit.

I can't remember who on here said it, but she'll 100% get a free pass until Avi's contract is off the books because "Jeter's moves hampering the franchise" 2027 is Kim's year!

Wait what

the theory is that it's the fans faults because they don't show up in droves to watch this team therefore the team can't afford to be competitive on a yearly basis.  Brucey would really really open up the pocketbooks if only 25k showed up night in and night out! He pinky swears!

In reality, a baker isn't going to blame his customers for burnt bread so why on earth should a baseball team owner blame the fans for not supporting a trash product?  He lives in a fantasy land - as does ANYONE who blames the fans for not coming out.  We all know he just uses the team as his own personal ATM machine anyway.  I'd LOVE to see some alternate reality where fans suddenly show up all next year and then see what their next set of excuses will be as to why they will forever have a bottom 10 payroll because I GUARANTEE he'd find another excuse. With the batshit crazy and unaware stuff our GM says I'm half expecting her to be on opening day next year saying "well, we finished over .500 last year even with all our bad luck so we like our chances this year. Hopefully Avi hits another 30hrs this season too!"
