The reasons he should be a Marlins,

1. We need a lefty 1B.

2. Need only to pay him the league minimum salary next season (or next three season ? ).

3. He's a good hitter though not that good in the defense. 

4. He's a Miami native. 

Sandy should just fucking demand a trade soon.

I find it ironic that Marlins value pitching and defense but  yet they refuse to address CF one of the most crucial defensive positions on the field.

The reality.... Rojas is cheap and they wont find someone cheaper to fill that role anywhere to the level of Rojas defensively.

I haven't followed him closely the last few years but unless something changed. He's always been considered a very good defender.  I'm not thrilled at the prospect of signing him but he's probably better than Cooper at 1b because of the defense  alone.

Ng needs good reputations to have good job in the future so she would do her best to achieve some achievements to show the whole baseball world, I believe she would do everything to improve the roster but of course it's not guaranteed worked.
