Braxton Garret

I like most do not believe The Marlins will not have a hard time signing him I just hope they don't screw him up like they have been doing with a lot of their other prospects

It seems they try to  make all players to throw the same exact pitches in the same exact way. If you notice few Marlins actually ever use curveballs. It almost like they clone one type of pitcher. He is very different from the normal Marlins pitching prospect and that worries me because  the Marlins tend to screw these kids up

Koehler, Nico, and Jose all throw curveballs

Callis loves it:

7. Miami Marlins: LHP Braxton Garrett, Florence (Ala.) HS

Callis: Jason Groome was the No. 1 prospect on MLB Pipeline. Puk was a strong favorite to go first overall. But if I could have any left-hander in the draft, I would want Garrett. I think he's going to have the best career of them. He may not just be the safest high school pick, he may be the safest pick in general. What's the flaw in this guy? He's polished. He throws strikes. I think he's a potential No. 2 starter who gets to the big leagues very, very quickly.

Why did we draft a pitcher that throws strikes?

Oh great we got a prospect. I'd trade him before the deadline. His value will never be higher. Maybe go get Yuniel Escobars

Mr.Loria, I'm going to have to ask you to step away from the computer.

I guess this is trying to be a joke but I'd love Escobar. I saw him get a hit once off Chapman so the man can hit.
