I've gotten more used to the slant but here's someone's quick mock up of straightening the M and it does look solid.

 

This guy made the M white though, not sure I like it. Losing the darkness seems to change the intended effect of the logo.

Also, forgive the quality of the uniform pictures, I'm pissed since I had to take screenshots to show you all because photoshop is glitching and not letting me save in any capacity - photoshop file or otherwise (the save, save as, nor open dialog boxes will not open.......does anyone have a solution to this?  Otherwise I'm going to lose everything I did in photoshop tonight, thanks in advance)

You continue to blow my mind...I’m really liking all your concepts. The all black logo really goes well with any background. I also like both letter styles you selected, any of them I would be happy with. If someone had gun to my head, I would probably go with the all caps lettering.

 

Now I’m looking foword to this logo being it. The team will have lots of flexibility with the style and colors of the uniforms, the logo lends itself to that.

Yeah, I think I was a bit off with the coloring - it got to being 2-3:30 am and I was just like this is what it is for now haha, especially after the saving issues.

Yes.  There are lots of script options and there is no push to incorporate the fish in the script.  @rmc523excellent work.  The basic framework for what we are thinking this may be is looking good.  I’ve totally come around assuming this is the logo and the colors we are kicking around turn out to be the real colors.  

 

Also the script doesn’t have to be the same font as the cap font.  There are plenty of examples throughout history where teams mismatch hat and jersey fonts.

Association (White or old Home) (White)

Icon (Colored or old Road) (Black)

Statement (Old Alternate) (Red)

City (the white Vice jersey last year, Black this year)

I like that idea.  Occasionally you’ll see football teams play where neither team has white.  Most notably USC UCLA.  Florida/Georgia started doing this too. It’s rare but those two games feature it and it looks nice on TV.  Now that you mention it I notice the heat magic game was blue v red

Yup. It was a nice concept. I just don't know if the names work. Those Neutral site NCAA games are pretty cool, just because of the pop of color.

Thinking the same. The black hat with black logo is pretty awesome. On the jerseys everything just blends in.

Thank you for doing this. Most definitely appreciated. I really like the Alternate jersey, reminds of the Futures game jerseys so to speak.

 

One thing I do wanna say is Dimelo Miami had on their survey as to whether fans would want Miami or Marlins on the front. I definitely think they should stick with Marlins on the front for Home and use the Miami for the road.

 

Just want to see how it would look with the script with Marlins on the front of the jersey.

Yeah, I did want to do that, but I just didn't have the energy to develop a MARLINS script too.  I meant to create a road gray with miami on it, but that the saving issues, so I just went to bed.

 

I'm with you, though - Marlins for home, Miami for away.
