Ozzie Guillen

Just saw Buster Olney on ESPN saying that Ozzie had more fault in this season than some have given him and he's not the right man for the job and that he should go. His article about it is on ESPN but it's insider only. Here's the blurb.

"Ozzie Guillen was supposed to be a draw, but there's a possibility that he's had the opposite effect in Miami, and that's aside from the losing. Buster assesses with the Marlins are committed to their bombastic manager."

I thought he handled Bell terribly, and he puts too much emphasis on speed and stealing, but maybe he forced the issue so much because we weren't hitting.

Thoughts?

I was impressive and shocked about Heath Bell' situation.

Since Ozzie gave up Bell's belief, Ozzie has never give a chance to close the game, drastically.

The comment about Castro was already happened during he was a manager of White Sox.

So, I thought these were whole entire organization's problem.

Marlins Might Dismiss Ozzie Guillen

By Ben Nicholson-Smith [september 21, 2012 at 4:00pm CST]

Ozzie Guillen could lose his job after a disappointing debut season in Miami. The Marlins are thinking about firing Guillen and have contacted at least one potential replacement, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports.

The Marlins plan to fire president of baseball operations Admin Beinfest and replace him with assistant GM and VP of player personnel Dan Jennings, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported yesterday. However, Rosenthal reports that Miami is more likely to dismiss Guillen than re-structure its front office. The Marlins haven’t made a definitive decision regarding Guillen, Rosenthal writes. Owner Jeffrey Loria will make the final call.

The Marlins would likely hire a low-priced alternative if they dismiss Guillen, according to Rosenthal. Former Marlins third baseman Mike Lowell has been discussed as a replacement, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reported yesterday. Nationals third base coach Bo Porter and Padres special assistant Brad Ausmus are alternate candidates, Rosenthal adds.
