Marlins couldn't trade for Reynolds is just like the Yankees couldn't sign Correa, it's just unacceptable. You force Sanchez and Garcia to play the central field and the worst case scenario would be you would got the bad performance in the defense and offense from them due to that. 

Still waiting for the final move before the opening day.

Just want to note - Luzardo has one of the best velocity spikes this spring which is a nice harbinger of (major) improvement - https://fantasy.fangraphs.com/buy-these-3-starting-pitcher-velocity-surgers/.

If Luzardo is good, and I'm talking even a solid # 4 longterm good (ignoring he is 1/2 potential) as they may have double aces with Sandy and Rogers, plus Pablo who could easily be a 2/3, plus whatever Meyer, Sixto, Cabrera, and a fast rising Eury do, plus maybe even more 4/5s with Hernandez, Poteet and others..... like come on Marlins. Something has to give here. You can't keep everyone, as we're not even listing Eder, Fulton, and others like Braxton, Holloway, Fitterer, Velez, and Soriano above. The rotation is set for 5+ years and likely longer. But of course, I said this about Johnson/Nolasco/Sanchez too and they blew out all of their arms.

Yes, I agree it is bananas Also Ketel Marte signed an extension, so he's off the board unless something daffy happens.

It's literally those three main guys - Reynolds, Mullins, Laureano - or shooting for a lower option/prospect - Hays/Marsh/etc. And it's not like Hayes (2.4 WAR last year, power upside and can defend) and Marsh (Top 10 prospect 2021 who they offered Meyer for already) are low options.

If the Marlins won't trade the big name prospects, I don't know how Hays/Sulser isn't attractive as the "cheaper" option. You're telling me they can't trade Sixto/Eder, Burdick, Salas/Lewis, and Jerar/Fitterer for them? Baltimore bets on some health with the pitcher, and takes two big swings at getting a guy similar to Hayes 2-3 years from now? Please.

It's very frustrating. It's like they'll do one thing to upgrade the team but refuse to go all in and blatantly skip other areas that clearly are in need of an upgrade. It reminds me of the year they traded for Nick Johnson. How they didn't try to upgrade the rotation or bullpen at the same time was incredibly furstrating at the time (if i remember correctly)

Awful but glad they're trying to market individual players. Seems like the Marlins rarely do that. Rojas, Jazz, and Sandy should be on billboards everywhere. They're such easy players to market.

I think Ng would willingly to trade for a CF after trying everybody in the central field and failed.
